Please be aware of a couple of points.
PAYMENTS.
Please ensure that you have the means to pay for any works carried out IMMEDIATELY upon completion. Payment terms are: no payment, no car, no exceptions. On the whole, the vast majority of my customers will pay before they’ve got their keys back - unfortunately, there are a few that require two or three reminders. Ignorance, “I’ll do it tonight”, “tomorrow” or “I was too busy” or “had other arrears to pay first” is no longer an acceptable response. Mobile banking makes it possible to send money instantly. I DO NOT accept cheques.
PLEASE NOTE: Late and overdue payments result the cancellation of personal discount applied on labour, “mates” rates and interest.
As a result, a new invoice will be provided in full amount estimated according to AUTODATA & HAYNES manuals repair times guidance and these conditions applied if the car older than:
*3 years old and/or more than 50k mileage, plus 10%;
*5 years old and/or more than 75k mileage, plus 15%;
*7 years old and/or more than 100k mileage, plus 20%;
*10 years old and/or more than 125k mileage, plus 25%;
*15 years old and/or more than 150k mileage, plus 30%.
BOOKINGS.
Please be aware that failing to cancel your booking before I turn up on your doorstep will result in an invoice for £120. Please note the terms and conditions.
PARTS.
I do not fit customer supplied parts, second hand parts (unless agreed and/or economically inefficient), or parts I believe be inferior to the parts I would supply myself. I have built up an amazing working relationship with my select bunch of suppliers, and I use them exclusively to save any issues arising which could be caused by “cheaper” parts. My public liability insurance only covers the parts supplied by myself.
DEPOSITS.
Should the parts for your vehicle cost over £50, or if they are “special order” parts, the cost of these parts will need to be covered, in full, before they are ordered AND before your vehicle is booked in for any given date. This is to allow me to continue being as efficient as physically possible, avoid me gathering a selection of parts I don’t want, and to avoid losing hours that could be spent earning money when people forget, change their mind, or have other issues arise. This will also allow other customers to utilise my time should your circumstances change.
